Hi, I know that altitude does effect pressure gauges. If you are at a lake at 5000 foot altitude your pressure gauge will give you false readings. Exactly how they will deviate I am not sure but any altitude over 1000 feet is a concern. A class on High Altitude Diving is in order since all the dive tables have to be ammended also. Regards, Ray
