Hi Richard Hess,

Liked the article you wrote....  Thanks!    I'm new to the list and just HAVE
to have my own sub...  Been checking out websites for weeks and there is
nothing in my price range.  
I'm certified scuba but no recent diving.  I want to build my own sub and
have some (what I think) excellent hulls available.   Your letter was great
info. but it scared me a little when you talk about the dangerous designs.  I
understand (I think) most of the dangers and benefits of the different
designs.   What I want to know is,  is there a support organization, group,
or individual who can help, give advice, or tell me that a particular design
is better off in a landfill!  
I belong to the Experimental Aircraft Assoc, and they have a support group
which is a great help to builders.   They offer consultation and overview of
first flights and have increased successful (crashfree) first flights 5 fold.
Any Ideas or insights you or anybody else has will be greatly appreciated.
  Even if the consults are not free, I want knowledgable second opinions on
this project.
