I have done a little sand blasting in tight quarters with some other projects and what I do is seal off all the openings except one for air in and hook another up to a dust collector. It does a very good job of keeping the visibility open. It isn't fun doing the work. It is nasty working environment. BE SURE NOT TO USE SILICA. Even with the best breathing rigs the media finds its way into everything. I restored a train engine and was inside of some tight areas and did the whole rig up I was talking about and it worked well.

Has anyone had the inside of their sub sandblasted? I know it's tight
quarters and the service I talked to didn't know if they would be able
to get at the inside because the blasting material wouldn't have much of
an escape route from the cabin which would seriously cut down visibility.
