Jon,

As usual, I can design a better controller after this length of time. Notice
I did not use the PWM controller UC3638 but the UC1842.

Let me know if I can help. There are better FETs on the market than what I
used back then.

I think I found it.  Looks like it was back in 2000 and there is a PDF
document explaining about PWM dating from 2002.
