Psubbers,

I have accepted an invitation by the Great Lakes Naval Memorial and 
Museum in Muskegon MI to host the 2012 PSUBS Convention in August.  We 
actually had a handful of options this year including Woods Hole in 
Massachusetts, Lake Summersville in West Virginia, and Key Largo in 
Florida, however none of these are closed doors and we can plan 2013, 
2014, and 2015 at any of those other locations.

Great Lakes Naval Museum sits directly between Lake Michigan and Lake 
Muskegon, and for those of you whom attended the 2007 Convention in 
Holland MI, it is just about another hour north.  The museum is also the 
home of the USS Silversides, a WWII era submarine, and interested 
parties can sleep on it overnight.  There are ample facilities in the 
area to support us and the museum has offered their facilities to us 
free of charge as well as perform the bulk of planning/coordination for 
the event.  We still need to select dates for the event which will 
either be the weekend of August 4 or 11.
