Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Rolled hull OR propane tank??
Josh,
It is generally accepted that having a tank rolled to your
specifications is more practical than modifying a propane tank. By the
time you've cut the tank, installed ribs, and cleaned the propane
"stink" out of the metal you have exerted more effort than just starting
with a rolled cylinder. It's no different than construction work...it
is much easier to build from scratch than have to perform demolition,
clean-up, and then rebuild. Do an internet search for "tank head" or
"rolled cylinder" and you'll find companies that perform this service.
Depending upon where you live you might find a local shop to do the
rolling for you.
