So far, I have received the following help (referenced below) in my quest
for more information on the so-called K-UQC underwater communication
system, as designed by George Kittredge for his K-boats.

Is it possible that you (or someone else) could send me a copy of the
information available on this topic, such as circuit diagrams, part list,
etc.?

** I knew Gulton Industries and their chief engineer very well. I visited
** their plant in New Jersey several times and purchased some test
** equipment from them for my company.  Their chief engineer was very
** capable but their ceramics were not as good as the ones made by Channel
** Industries or Clevite.

** common 1 1/2" diameter  cylinder. Their ceramics were used by
** commercial ultrasonic companies probably because of their low price.
