Do you need to remove the canister from the sub to change the sofnolime?

Hi Brian,

I haven't tested it to exhaustion, but according to Phil's paper, the Sofnolime gives you four hours per pound. This scrubber has nine pounds, and I can carry refills. Now, the problem is the K-250's tiny battery bank doesn't have the capacity to keep the fan going for as long as the Sofnolime supply would last. So, in extremis, you would resort to the high-tech device of stuffing your socks with Sofnolime and breathing through them to make it lung powered. Beebe put his soda in a tray and fanned it with a Chinese fan, and that was standard procedure, not an emergency.

The soda material is replaced by pulling off the top and pouring it in. I must be missing something about the question!

Alec,
Your scrubber looks real good !  Are you  happy with it?  It looks real straight forward and it must have a long time capacity, what is the duration of it?   How do you replace the soda material?
