Hi All,

              I've been wieghing my various options for my dive planes and I'm trying to approximate the force which will needed to be applied going though the water at around 4 to 5 knots.  My plan was to only use mechanical force that I can apply myself using mechanical advantage of a lever.  Would it be safe to say that it would be a similar force to that of a tiller on a sailboat?  Usally those tillers have a long handle that is around 3 feet long,  I've had experiance with piloting a sailboat and it seems like that would be very close to the forces I would encounter.  Any thoughts?
