Hi All,

                 Just want to make sure I'm understanding the transition angle of a cone going from one diameter to another.  In my case I have my 30" diameter which will transition to a 48" diameter (which can be seen on my mock up)  I was planning on that being a 45 degree angle.  According to ABS it can be as steep as 60 degrees, that seems very steep to me.  Also I will have another short cone on my coning tower going from 20" to 28" I was planning on another 45 degree cone there as well.   I'm I correct on this ?, just want to make sure they don't actually mean 30 degrees.
