I think the replacement sensors are less than $100 for both Analox
and Crowcon, but someone should confirm it. I seem to recall the
lifetime of the sensors between 3-5 years depending on the gas.

Honeywell instrument that was quite reasonable but the
replacement sensors were $730. It seemed they moved more of
the functionality into the sensor rather than the instrument
itself.
