When I went to Sub School there, back in 1966, there was a Japanese
mini-sub in front of the school that had much of the hull cut away to
expose the insides. It sat out in the weather for years with the
battery cases split open and rust all over the inside. I don't believe
it was this one.
Any idea what that one was? It seemed to be smaller and was shaped
more like a modern hull.
