Sleeping Beauty. Several of the major powers involved in WWII produced
underwater vehicles that one or two frogmen (common term at the time) would sit
in or straddle. SB was more hydrodynamic than most.
Thanks for the info on your father also. Growing up in the shadow of
WWII, I read everything I could find written by those who served including
German and Japanese pilots. My father was a US Navy pilot in the Pacific
theater and I heard a lot of his stories including his time in the
Philippines.
