Never heard of 'em! Some kind of flow-adaptive contraption?
Keep in mind that "ordinary," pedestrian propellers get very high
efficiencies at design point, and wake-adapted propellers can be over
100% in propulsive (not propeller) efficiency with respect to the free
stream. There isn't much room for improvement...
