you get up to the thicknesses that I was planning on using the material
tends to vary quite significantly.  This was confirmed when I looked at the
RPT website also.  So for my 1 1/2" thick viewports I would need to get
1.75" thick material and then machine it down to size.

Getting raw material that meets or exceeds ASME PVHO requirements is not
difficult.  Having a specific viewport certified may be costly.  You
must have missed my mail to members in mid-october where I identified a
supplier that can provide us with PVHO grade acrylic for a very good
price.  Vance indicated he might be interested in some material as well,
so I suggest you both contact me with your requirements and I'll see
what the price is.  If you need enough material I can have them ship it
directly to you.
