You need 2000 kWh of storage (not allowing for losses). How that is delivered depends on what voltage the motor requires. If it is rated 120 VDC, for instance, you need 2 x 10^6/120 = 16,667 ampere-hours of battery storage. If your bank consisted of ten 12-volt batteries connected in series, each battery would have to have that capacity. As a practical matter, your bank would have to be a parallel-series arrangement, with enough batteries in each parallel group to make up the necessary capacity, and the groups connected in series.
