10kts is fast enough .I wonder how much drag she will put on the towing vessel and what the added fuel consumption would be.Do you know the max towing speed of a Kboat in its origanal configuration.

Glen,

10 knots, not 20. That was always the claim. There is some erosion under the main ballast tanks which will have to be repaired, and the tanks themselves need work. Once that is finished, sandblast and weld inspection(s) then paint. The viewports will have to be tested, so I will be building a double-ended fixture to test a pair of them at a time. Then the usual. New o-rings, wiring, reassembly, test and.....play. In that order, I expect.

Hi Vance
Nice machine can she allso be towed at 20kts ?How much work does she have to be done on her? She looks like she just needs a good sandblast.

All--

Gamma is now on the projects and photos page. One shot to start with, just about packed up in Mobile, where I got her and ready for the long trip home. I'm afraid the poor old thing is kind of embarrassed at the moment. Not looking her best. I will update progress as we go along.
