Anything can be done with power to burn.  CO2 scrubbing is done with water
at elevated pressures in biogas treatment on large scales using tower
fillers such as the rings.  Generally done more effectively at just over
1000 psi.
Also CO2 levels from 20-30% scrubbing down to 3-5% from memory.  Not viable
with p-subs.  Why aren't the sofnolimes of the world out of business?
Because it is the best system. More to the point is how can we regenerate
the 'limes in a safe and effective way.  Now that is a better thread to
follow.  At $15 per kilo it would be nice to stick it in the oven, or
whatever it takes for 10 minutes to bring it back.  Hugh

Hi Jim,
It sounds like it wouldn't be very energy efficient for our psubs.
If we are pumping 160 liters of air a minute through our scrubbers,
(deep worker figures) then we would have to push the same amount 
of air but above ambient seawater pressure to mix with outside water
or draw the water into the hull & then pump it out, wouldn't we?
