RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] o ring

It is for the K-350 tru-hull that rotates and turns the VBT on and off. What type of material is that "o" ring made of? Is that just like a common hardware store "o" ring? I just don't know anything about "o" rings besides what they do.
Thanks,
Scott Waters

What was the application.  Your number seemed to be a mil spec 90 durometer but generally common O’rings are pretty resilient. Get the clearances and surface finishes right and good lubricant.

Where can I buy the Stillman MS9021-114 (.103x.612 I.D.) "O" Ring? I have been searching www.mcmastercarr.com with no luck. Any help?
Thanks,
Scott Waters
