** it wouldn't take much power to run an LED.

It'll be 4 LEDs, plus the current drawn by the rest of the circuit... but
it's nothing compared to the amps drawn by the propulsion system :)

On the other hand, every mA (here and there) soon add up to an Ampere or two.
