Hi Cliff, Rapt to see you diving. That brings up a point of what have you
got for a pinger locator and what are you going to do about forward sonar. 10
plus knots underwater in that thing needs some advanced warning. Regards, Hugh From:

[mailto:owner-personal_submersibles@psubs.org] On Behalf Of Cliff Redus Paul, the
problem was that I did not understand what was happening at the
time. I was not sure if I was being dragged on the bottom
or just sliding along a grade
to deeper location. When I started to ascend, I had
no sensation of motion in any direction. I was thinking that maybe my air
solenoid to the VBT tank was not functioning or maybe I was taking on water
that was making me heavy. If I had realized I was gliding horizontally, I
could have just open up the throttle and used my aft control surfaces
to drive to the surface. I would have had plenty of control to do this
but I just did think of it as I thought I just doing a vertical ascent with my
VBT with an anchored topside boat. At the time I was more worried about
hitting the bottom of his boat with my viewport. Cliff
