Hi Emile. Good idea. I had some steel cut locally with a water jet. 1
inch and 1-1/2 inch thick. It looked smooth like a laser cut. Very
impressive machine for sure. I'll go see them and get a price. (Although it's
hard to beat "free" from my son-in-law.)
The annealing will remove the stress also. I've contacted some folks nearby
who have commercial ovens with computer controls, and one of the guys said he
has done plexi parts before. I got the temp and time specs from a site a while
back. Better dig those out from my files. Still tying down the details on
that stage. Thanks for reminding me.
