Hi Vance, 

each motore eats 1,1 KW at 36,5 KG thrust. Full speed with 3,3 Kwh and 110 Kg Thrust.
Its overpowered and make a good surface speed of 3-4 knots.. 

On dive you normal run only one stern motor full or both side motors half speed. 
So medium it needs 1 kw per hour - but we not managed in a hole day diving to empty the battery. 

If you fill Rootssub with lithium cells you will have max about 64 kwh battery inside and a range of about 
70 sm at 4 knots at 100 sm at 3 knots..

If you build additional pods on this Lithium Rootssub you have also the need 
to extend the boat for a toilet room with shower..  

70sm/4 knts = 18 hours..
