effective range of this broadband voice communications system at the present
transmit levels. This being in calm weather and in medium boat
traffic.
It could still be understood even with loud boats
within the line of site of the transmit and receive stations!
Deep transmission testing will soon follow as these initial tests were
conducted at relatively shallow points (about 3' to 5' deep) within a fairly
deep body of fresh water (45'-90'). Salt water testing is also soon to be
investigated.
