Jon sounds like a good plan.
They are claiming the Lithium cartridge is much more
efficient 25 - 40% less required for
life support, and it is basically dust free. Interesting will have
to take a look.

From memory, Lithium Hydroxide is much better at CO2
absorption but a lot nastier substance too and so handling is a
concern. I don't know if Micropore's canisters make handling less of
an issue or not. Lithium Hydroxide is particularly good at CO2
absorption in low temp situations where as soda lime and some others lose
efficiency at low temps. AND...lithium hydroxide was chemical of
choice for the Apollo moon program (not an endorsement of the chemical,
just a trivia fact).
