Hi Andy,

Speaking of LEDs, I would like to make a really strong dive light using
LED's , I'd like to push them a bit to increase their intensity. I was
thinking of using a clear vinyl membrain (like the kind Phil had) and
mineral oil as a heat sink and as a pressure equalizer. Do you know a good
source for some birght LEDs?

Brian

Have you guys ever heard of LED throwies:

The idea is a small battery, magnet, and LED. I think it would not be
too hard to make it a bit more water proof. You could low level cheap
independent illumination wherever you needed it. You could add a button
and or a switch so you don't go throw too many batteries.

Nice thing about a steel hull..you can stick magnets anywhere..

Hi Jens. I like the illuminated gage idea too. It would help if you were
down deep, had the interior lights off, some exterior lighting on and
taking photos through the window.
