In preparing my presentation on the Seehund design review for this year’s program, had to look at its predecessors the British Welman and Germany’s copy Biber.  Both used a sliding weight for trim control and both had issues.  Technology may have a solution for these problems and would like to discuss the sliding weight trim with you at the Conference.  Vance would be another good person to include in this trading of ideas.

I like the "sliding weight" option as it compensates for passenger movement and aids in angle control. Putting the sliding weight mechanism inside makes it simpler to fab, operate, and maintain.
