It would be a shame to re-wind the motor if you are getting good
performance. I would think Curtis could help if they wanted to.
It still sounds like the shunt current is too low for the controller and
might be tripping off due to noise (maybe!).
Any way I liked your Sub and it seems fast.

Hey Ken good to hear from you. I have not checked yet, but I have
a feeling the controller
just kicked out. It did it a few times when we were bench
testing. Thought we had it whooped
but maybe not. I still do not have reverse in it, and will
probably just redo everything. If the
controller is not going to be reliable, may just pull the
motor and have it rewound to a straight
series motor. I am real pleased with the way it performs. I never
dreamt a DC motor could be
so difficult. Lesson learned.

Dean,
Nice Sub, glad to see the video.
Wonder what went wrong with the propulsion?

Thanks Dave, she hasn't been down more than 10' so far
but she is getting close.
It does make all the hard work and cussin worth while. And I
promise the video's will
improve, I really do like looking at them. From inside the
sub you do not get to see it.

Dean, A wonderful video! A wonderful
