Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Membership ?

If you hit an error once, you keep hitting it until you clear your temporary internet files, or your browser forces a refresh. Every time you visit a web site, that page is saved on your PC in a temporary file. Your web browser will typically assume that if you are going back to the same site within a certain amount of time, that the web page you visited the last time hasn't changed. So instead of going back out over the internet it just redisplays the temporary internet file it saved the last time.

If you wait a couple days the browser will detect that the temporary file is stale, and go back out over the internet to re-read the web page. Assuming you don't want to wait that long, you can clear the temporary internet files manually. Every browser has a way to do this. In MS Internet Explorer 6 (which is what I use) just do the following.

1) Open your web browser.
2) Go to Tools -> Internet Options
3) In the center of the GENERAL tab, you will see Temporary Internet Files.
4) Press "Delete Files" (it may take some time to delete the files)
5) Close your browser, then start it up again. Go back to the web page that gave you the error and it should now redisplay.

Frank, if you still have problems after these instructions, contact me off-list. I got your previous mail and responded to it, so it's not clear to me if the instructions I provided didn't work or you just didn't see the message.

It says access denied. What am I doing wrong. Frank D.
