Alan, My deployments would be brief. The air will be constantly fed to this controlled air bubble and "extra" bubbled out and discarded overboard. The effects of varying air pressure could make listening to sonar more difficult. I would have to allow my ears to stabilize at each depth change to be effective. As for the ocean...not at this time, I would like but to explore fresh water rivers and lakes. Calm waters where the fish are much smaller and won't try to eat me! When I think of going shallower and seeing thru a scope or surfacing, its clear water I am hoping for. I have much research ahead of me and many more friends to meet along the way. I will enjoy the trip and take my time. Fish bowl! send it to me I could try it out. How come your going semi wet, is it so you can reach down & pick stuff up off the ocean floor? Might be cold.
Have you sorted out how your life support system is going to work. I'm not sure how it's done safely or wether there is a safe & easy system with ambients.
