Rick,

Golf carts come in both 36 volt and 48 volt versions.  You should be able to 
find what you need for the rear thruster from that type of equipment.  For 
your side thrusters you may have to do some shopping or use trolling motors. 
The side thrusters don't need to have speed control, just forward / reverse. 
You can do that just by switching polarity of the DC current.  Visit a golf 
cart shop and you may find an entire old cart that you can strip for what 
you need.  Out there in paradise, there must be a ton of tarnished carts 
that still run but get junked.

If you not sure how to wire the thing, follow what works for the carts.
