To All: Jon has posted the basic block diagram of the passive sonar/underwater communications console as the last frame of the uw comms project site. The preamplifiers used were universal mono preamplifiers from all electronics and the amplifiers for both channels were 7 watt amplifier cards also obtained from all electrocs. The gain and volume pots and all other control panel mounted items can be obtained from your local Radio Shack store. We are moving towards a basic black plastic project box as the enclosure for future builds. See, its not so much majic as one might have thought!
