That's good advice Dan. Stick welding is a little dirty, but it "burns in"
good and with practice, you can lay down X-ray quality welds. I've had lots of
welds X-rayed back when I was working and it's an old "tried-and-true" method.
The equipment is basic, the material is easy to find. Just be prepared to do a
lot of grinding.
