Hi David. Ambient subs generally don't go that deep, or stay down that
long. It would require using mix gas and extra certifications etc. and still is
very risky. I think most ambient subs are built that way to reduce cost and
complexity ( and weight) so I can't see where a capacitor or other sealed
electronic device would suffer much from 2 or 3 atmospheres. It might be a good
use for the testing chamber to try a few small devices containing items like
that and see if they still work. Frank D.
