Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] update Kreidesee

Hi Vance, thats right.

You can lift and change the pressure scuba tanks out of the aft superstructure fairing laying alongside a boat or key or ponton. And yes the other zylinder in front of the pressure bottles is a emergency signal buoy with around 800 feet of hig tension rope. Oxygen is inside - and spare and emergency exit pressure bottles also.
Emile and I will build all our expierence in building and/or diving with Peppers, Euronaut, SOVI, Nemo, 2dive, Kraka and Nautilus in..

The thrusters gets ceramic seals tight to 14 bars. We like to test them in a tank and hope they are good for more. Otherwise we will aircompensate the thrusters.

I just make a range calculation with around 40 KWh LiPo Akkus and come to 60 sm range in 800 feet deep.
Pretty much for such a small 2,4 ts 3-seater.

Note: Peppers get a new batterytank in the keel - stainless steel zylinder typ and filled with Lithium Polmers Batterys. Will double the range and endurance and give 20% more power.

See you Carsten

Your HP Air bottle rack, for instance, looks as if it is designed to pivot upward out of the aft fairing to a point above the water level. Yes? And it looks like that other cylinder in the aft fairing might be an emergency buoy. The oxygen seems to be inside. And how will you compensate the thrusters? I see lots of very good ideas here. It's exciting to see a new sub going together with such forethought.
