Yes it is confusing! The picture of the Window on
the projects page does look like that. That is the shape as it came out of the
oven after forming and was taken by Greg prior to his machining it.
Hope that clarifies it. By the way, you are not the
first one who asked a similar question!

The front viewport is 38 inches in diameter. The
mating surface is two 90 degree surfaces. That would a flat base with an OD
surface at 90 degrees.
I can hardly wait to install it, but it will be
one of the very last things as it is a great way to get things in and
out!
