Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] MBT valve

Got it. White paper. Lines. Hmm. That seems easy enough. I've got one of those combo printer-fax-scanners and a mega desktop (for me, at least). Now, if I can just figure out how to plug the damned camera in and scan the print... Maybe I'll ask one of the neighborhood 15 year olds. They use a computer like I use a ball point. Either way, it's happening over the next couple of weeks, so we ought to have this thing out shortly.

I'm not sure about the pink Cadillac, at least a pink Cadillac without Bernadette Peters in it. Like Clint Eastwood said in the movie: If there's any justice in the world, baby, they'll let you keep that red dress. And she can run flat out in high heels. Wow! That was some cat.

Vance,

A white paper with some lines on it, other wise known as a drawing would be divine. ;)'

I like blue prints even better. Ya know where you take a cat ( any cat will do), some blue paint and a new pink Cadillac, and mix them all together.

Frank,
No, the wash from venting, etc, keeps the unit clean and with that much bearing surface, small amounts of grit won't matter. It's the design I'm building as we speak. I've got a couple of tricks from the old days to make it easier for maintenance, and cheaper to build. The pistons ought to be here this week upcoming, and the other bits are coming out of the machine shop next week as well. Now, if the welder is cooperative, we should be in business shortly. I'll take some pics as the pieces get done, do a sketch and then try to figure out how to download all this to Jon, who tells me I'm doing a white paper. (I thought it was a valve!!!).

Brent. If the gasket is on the top, and the piston/disk comes up against it, sand won't collect on the flat/smooth disk. Frank D.
