Hi All Psubbers,
I have completed preliminary design of my soft
tanks and am looking for input. They will be shoulder tanks tapered from the
sides and ends at 2-3 degrees to minimize the chance of bubble entrapment. As
they are now the will support about 12 % of my subs total weight.
The bottoms will be mostly closed with rows of 4
inch diameter holes to minimize burping in rough water.
Does anyone have a guideline on this area as to
what percentage is good etc.
