        We have subs classed by both (Lloyds and ABS) - All the Newtsuits
were Lloyds classed because so much of our market was in Europe and Lloyds
was the most universally recognized agency. Since we'd had a long history
with them, we decided to continue with Lloyds when we designed and built
the DeepWorkers.  We've also had experience with DNV (det Norske Veritas)
and Caymans and a couple of other agencies. Very recently, some of the
agencies have become , well, 'aggressive' in their classification charges,
so we 're taking a hard look at our options on a case by case basis.
Counting the days with Oceaneering, Hard Suits Inc., Can-Dive, Nuytco,
etc., I've had the dubious pleasure of being responsible for the
certification of  well over a hundred units - and can tell you that -   If
you don't like dealing with  'fish inspectors' or mountains of paperwork -
then classing is not for you!
