Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] ADS NewtSuit/HardSuit Applications

David, I don't want to step on Phil's toes by answering this, but I had a couple of thoughts regarding the claustrophobia issue. I imagine that any person could feel claustrophobic in an enclosed space like a submarine, and that this feeling could be expected to be worse as the space gets smaller. For someone prone to feelings of claustrophobia, I would expect the worst case scenario to be a tin can not much bigger than the person, which affords them some mobility within it, but not enough to prevent them from feeling hopelessly confined. When you continue to make the space smaller, such that the suit becomes not so much a tin can to move within, but rather a suit in the true sense of the word, where it simply moves with you and ceases to be an enclosed space so much as simply the appropriate clothing for the prevailing conditions, I would expect the psychology to be much different - in essence, the operator being well dressed in one of the most wide-open spaces imagineable.

Just conjecture on my part. I could be wrong.

What if last nights chilli turned out not to be so good once down to 800'?
These suits are really fantastic, these are just not for me.
