Yes, the Exosuit rotary is different than my original patent. Actually,
there are three typesor variations of joints planned for the Exo - because,
ultimately,  there will be a 'shallow' suit (probably 300-500 feet) a
'standard' suit (1000-1200 feet) and a 'deep' suit (2000-3000 feet).  The
three torsos are also quite different; with composite membrane/titanium
'skeleton', cast 6061T alum,and cast titanium. There are three modes for
each type of suit - walking/swimming/thruster pack. The first two modes can
be autonomous, while  the thruster pack requires requires surface supply
for long duration work or on-board batteries for short duration projects.
All three models will be delivereable by a modified DeepWorker submersible
-either Dual or Single. The sub will provide transport, thruster pack
power, lighting, documentation and tooling. We hope to introduce the
submersible-supported ADS on a contract that we have with NASA and the
Canadian Space Agency in 2009.
