They held the part at 1150 degrees. While I used I used Grade 70 on the balance of the sub, I used Grade 50 for the cone. The reason for this is that I needed the weight in that area and at 3/4 thick the Grade 50 had plenty of strength.

Hi Jim. Thanks for the info. A max temp would be good info if it's not a hassle to get. Are you using the AS516-70 steel? Thanks again.....good info. Frank D.
