Hi Jim. Good to hear from you. Yes, I can hardly wait to see Ian's sub. I
remember Wil saying it would be delivered with a small diesel motor. I would
guess a permanent power plant would be some where near 60 hp or more. It will be
very interesting to see what it takes to make a bare hull of that size complete
and ready for an ocean trip. I envy Ian and will offer any help he may need. Any
chance you could come out and stay for a while? You're welcome to stay here
if you can make it.
I'll try to get moving on my sub so I can get it wet this spring. The
stainless ballast tanks are the next phase, and I've got the patterns mostly
done. Got any news on your project? I'll get some new pics of mine and put them
