I purchased the DC traction motors for the R300 from KTA services www.kta-ev.com. They were manufactured by a company called Advanced D.C. Motors, Inc. http://www.electroauto.com/catalog/dcmotors.shtml. These motors can also be purchased from http://www.evparts.com/ I also purchased the motor controller and reversing contacter from KTA. KTA's webs site sucks but they are very knowable on EV systems and have a great catalog that you should get them to send you.
