Bus schedules and planning - see the tabs at the
upper right.
Skytrain should be online soon and well enough
ahead of the Psubs event.
The Skytrain will take you right downtown from the
airport (walking distance from US arrivals terminal) and, at the other
end, within walking distance of the Seabus (catamaran passenger
ferry - no cars) to North Van. For those familiar with Nagoya
(Japan) it's no more complicated than catching the train from Centrair Airport
into downtown Nagoya. But, it's all in English. Good idea if your
luggage has wheels.
You can get right into North Vancouver without
having to sweat out complicated buses or other options.
The Skytrain is elevated for much of the way, the
Seabus operates at the base of the North Shore mountains (literally). Both
provide fantastic views.
Google Earth for a good feel.
Bring an umbrella. November provides lots of
liquid sunshine and below freezing temps at night. Vancouver rain is
obnoxious piddly stuff, North Vancouver is enough to make you overdose your
vitamin D.
Warm, wet regards,
Rick in Vancouver
