Jon, The first unit for testing as our communications console (the underwater speaker) has arrived today. Should this choice not withstand our intense testing, other options or models are still available. This particular unit looks promising and will transmit in four different dirrections. On the console itself, I have redrilled all of the component mounting holes in the newly arranged front panel assembly to be as simple to understand and operate as I could make it. I will apply a coat of paint tonight and keep going to completion. My target is for the end of this month. The initial test will be a simple transmission of voice message within our 18' outdoor pool with my son relaying that which was said. More intense testing will be done at your end so do not get rid of all of your hydrophones. Keep one along with a portable amplifier for use as a reciever unit even if used from shore.
