Hi skrewgun007, AFter looking at picture 2, I have another conern. The length of both the main and variable ballast tanks can give you lognitudual stability problems. True if the main ballast tank is completely full or empty of water then everything will be fine. The problems occur during the transistion between the two. Half full the water will slosh forwards and backwards. Making the bow and stern alternatively bouyant. Or possibly the air bubble will just set on one end. These tanks will at a minimum need baffling. Or better yet be divided into individual tanks.
