Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] KISS Submadman Cup Holder

"Do you have any lifetime papers for the cement on the tape?"  Yes, I'll fax them over

Measure protocolls for the thickness of the tape? They are at the office

Do you meassure huminity and temp of the wall during the application ? Of course I do

" Was this figures inside the parameters for the tape to applicate offered by the maker of the tape. "   Sounds like a rhetorical question

"About the coke bottle .."  Are you aware Pepsi is not Coke?  You might start a war. Coke wouldn't give me a sweet heart deal on my refit.

"It seems it contains also a little bit of acid." Ya  "Any papers that the bottle can hold this aggressive fluid during the hole dive ?"   Google it, but be gentle,

I'm more conserned as to whether I can hold the fluid during the whole dive.

"Also the fluid seems to contains Co2 in large amounts -"  I hope so  "do you have an co2 indicator in the cabin?"  Maybe

I have some more questions about this design..  Ok but it will cost you a $100 an hour. ;)

The amount of time and effort you put into your work is obvious.  The craftsmanship is superb!

But I'm afraid that such a luxury is a little too deep for my wallet. ;-)

In the attemp to fully embrace the KISS principle, I've spent days slaving, to design and manufacture to exacting standards, a fully functional conning tower cup holder. I'm hoping it will meet with ABS approval. I suspect it will not rust if you choose to use your sub in saltwater. It's a touch expensive to produce, but you can use a more financally friendly brand of duck tape then I used if you need to.  The finite element analysis, and weights and moments calcs will follow shortly. It looks like I'll need two, and I'll need to drink evenly to keep the sub level. Yes Pepsi is now paying for my K-250 refit.

Plans are available at www.ru_loco.com for reasonable prices.

A balanced submarine, is a submarine with a cup holder on both sides.

Everyone has a purpose in life. Perhaps yours is to sit there with a goofy look on your face, reading my emails.
