Let me
clarify a bit.
We do
not expect any divable subs, but we will have Kittredge's K-600 with us for
static viewing and inspection. Kittredge's UEM submarine (modified K-250)
will be appearing in the Lobster Festival Parade in Rockland, on Saturday, Aug2,
and is about one hour by car, from Castine. Perhaps we can rearrange the
schedule to do a road trip if there is interest.

Hey everybody, check out the updated agenda for the
Conference. I understand that due to the high price of gas, we will not
have any PSUBS in attendance…that is a shame. With that in mind Jon
& Ray reworked the schedule to fill it up with other activities. My
hat is off to both of them for all of the hard work they have had to put in on
this Conference due to various changing circumstances.
I am still trying to get a marine contractor local to
Castine to bring his K-boat to the Conference. And hopefully Steve out
of Camden will get his sub into the States in time to attend with
it.
