Greetings Frank, I like it more.;)' The sub has been out in the weather for at least 6 years. Before that it might of been kept in a garage and/or outside. It was used in saltwater in the arctic and a number other places. There are currently no thrusters. Just the main truster casings. I at one time was planning on replacing the side thrusters with Minn Kota 101's like yours, but I'm now considering using the original thruster housings and build new thrusters using a mix of the original plans and modern internal parts to complete the thrusters to look like the original ones. I don't plan on going fast in this sub any ways. Speed will have to wait until my next sub. What do you mean theres no snow here in Idaho. What do you think that big white thing is behind the sub? ;)' It is wonderful motorcycle riding weather up here right now Frank. But I'm currently away from home and my sub working in central Washington. After all they don't give away new acrylic domes and windows these days. Speaking of acrylic domes, I was thinking of polishing up my original K-250 dome and taking it to the convention and see if the Captain will sign it for me, and then put it on my wall. Don't tell any body, but I'm thinking of naming my K-250 , "My Rubber Ducky". Man! I really like that sub. You said earlier that you
had data and stuff, and I was curious how long the sub has been in storage. Did
the previous owner use it in salt water? What motors does it have? send us
more pictures! We are all very excited for you, and are here to help if you need
it. Hey, where's all that snow? the weather looks nice there. Best of luck,
